I wanted to share our experience with the Vercom IPlex IP PBX phone system.
We have been very pleased with our selection of the Vercom branded IP PBX. After considering several national brand products we selected the IPlex IP PBX instead of them because of the inherent value, feature set, performance, and technical support provided by Vercom and the IPlex IP PBX.
Our practical experience with the IPlex PBX started off wonderfully with a short 1 hour installation and flawless performance since it was installed in 2004.
Several features stand out when compared to our old system. The call handling, multi-layer automated attendant, on demand call recording, web based voice mail retrieval, and overall system scalability has increased our call handling efficiency, customer satisfaction, and statistical analysis of our call volume.
I would highly recommend the IPlex PBX to anyone considering upgrading their antiquated phone system.

Switching the IPlex phone system has cut our maintenance cost by two-thirds over our previous PBX system and will help reduce cost further by enabling us to switch to VoIP based phone service in the near future. It is very easy to update and maintain the system through the web based configuration utility. The voice quality is outstanding, even over long distance network connections. Vercom trained our entire workforce in a professional manner and their support staff is friendly and highly responsive. The features of the IPlex system allow us to tie systems in separate facilities together as if they were a single system.
