The IPlex feature set provides multiple ways to make sure that inbound client calls find their intended target a higher percentage of the time. In addition, the IPlex telephone system provides for quick notification of missed calls. This will provide your company with a competitive advantage by being able to quickly respond to client calls or take calls that would otherwise go unanswered.

With IPlex mobility solutions, employees are free to collaborate and move throughout the office. Our feature set contains multiple options for allowing this freedom of movement within your facility. If you need to be out of the office on business, have a teleworker staff or have a need to work temporarily from home, our features will enable you to easily replicate your office functionality, provide quick and efficient notification of messages on your company messaging system and allow you to interact seamlessly with clients and colleagues.

Mobility features include:

Bluetooth

With this wireless headset, employees maintain phone capabilities within a 150 ft. radius of their physical phone location. The device has the ability to pick up and terminate calls as well as control volume. This application can be deployed for employees who need hands free capabilities for phone conversations at their desk or need the ability to roam for files, faxes or visit a nearby office.

Wireless

If your company is set up for wireless network communication (802.11), VerCom can deploy a wireless handset solution that will allow employees to roam freely while maintaining the ability to use the phone.

Text Message Alerts

If your employees are tired of having to call in to check for messages or need quick notification of calls, The IPlex solution provides text message alerts to cell phones to immediately notify employees of messages on the IPlex voicemail system. The text message includes Caller ID information, time of call, date and the length of the message.

Voice Mail to Email

By sending voice mail messages to the email server, the IPlex telephone system simplifies, unifies and speeds response to messages. Employees now have a visual representation of messages and can prioritize and eliminate messages without having to listen to all. These messages can be more easily forwarded by use of the email server.

Networked Phones

With the IPlex telephone solution, all phones run on a network. Network technology creates the ability for employees to login to different phones throughout the network. Because the IPlex telephone system has intelligence, it recognizes that the employee has changed their location. The telephone system will now route any calls to their extension directly to the phone they logged into on the network. This works for any company location that is on a network. See below for establishing virtual private networks for travel, teleworker support, working from home temporarily or for locations outside of the company network.

Call Forwarding

Similar to the above solution, employees will have the capability to easily forward their calls to another phone extension on the network, a cell phone, a home phone or other communication device. Extension forwarding to another network phone applies not only to their location but to any extension on the company-wide telephone network.

Paging

To locate employees for important calls, the IPlex solution also supports paging thru the phone. With this powerful solution, a page can be sent thru all phones or a targeted group of phones based on job function, location etc…. Paging groups can be established to customize this solution in finding parties within your company. This feature works on the entire telephone network, whether it is a single or multi-location network.

Follow Me

With this mobility feature, employees can set their individual preferences on how to be contacted through the IPlex telephone system based on their daily or weekly schedule. This is a changeable and flexible feature platform that can be broken down on an hourly basis and has multiple choices for a single contact (i.e.… 1. ring my extension, 2. ring my cell phone, 3. send to voice mail). This feature creates the most efficient environment for successful connection between your inbound callers and your staff.

Virtual Office

Most businesses have travel needs, teleworkers or have employees who work from home at times. With IPlex mobility solutions, these employees no longer have to sacrifice the ability to communicate effectively while out of the office. With VPN technology, employees can create a virtual office almost anywhere in the world. The only requirement is a high speed internet connection. Once established, this employee will have all the capabilities on the telephone system at their fingertips. Whether they just need to take calls or conduct a full conference, the IPlex solution provides a gateway for communication. This functionality can be achieved directly through the PC with the addition of a softphone.
